Paint correction is the process by which we achieve that smooth and even surface. Depending on the severity of the damage to the paint, a 1, 2, or 3 step paint correction may be recommended. Exterior Detailing and Surface Inspection
We begin every paint correction process by washing and detailing your vehicle’s exterior in order to remove surface contaminants. Once removed, our husband & wife team here at Ursa Luxe Auto Coatings thoroughly inspects your vehicle in order to find and adequately address any defects or discrepancies in the paint. This allows us to find the right solutions for each individual issue to provide your ride with the custom level of care it demands.
Cutting, Buffing, and Polishing
After the initial detailing and paint surface assessment, we proceed to the action stage of paint correction: Cutting, buffing, and polishing are carefully utilized to address defects found during inspection. This level of light abrasion facilitates the removal of virtually all the scratches and swirls found in your vehicle’s paintwork, leveling them to create a smooth and ultimately glossy surface. Polishing is especially important in achieving the signature deep glassy look of a professionally applied ceramic coating.
Surface Enhancement and Future Protection
After removing any and all paint defects from your ride, surface protection must be applied to seal in the results. With your paint correction, your car will receive a professional surface sealant to temporarily secure the like-new condition of your vehicle’s finish. However, we highly suggest choosing a System X ceramic coating expertly applied by Ursa Luxe Auto Coatings for up to 10 years of additional protection.
