Hand applied and cured to perfection, our professional-grade System X ceramic coating formulas utilize nano particles of silicon dioxide (SiO2) suspended in a liquid solvent to create a dense, three-dimensional molecular structure that acts as a permanent protective armor for your car. The solvent slowly evaporates as the coating cures, allowing the silicon particles to chemically bond to one another and form a tetrahedral web of silica quartz that completely seals your vehicle’s surface. The resulting crystalline layer is quartz-hard and ultra scratch resistant with hydrophobic qualities that repel dirt & road contaminants.
How Does A Ceramic Coating Work?
The Steps:
01 — Decontamination
We start by giving your vehicle an expertly formulated foam wash, chemically dissolve harsh contaminants, hand remove micro debris using soft clay, and, finally, dry with ultraplush microfiber towels in preparation for step two.
02 — Paint Correction
After the paint has been cleansed and stripped bare, we use our state of the art paint correction tools to remove imperfections and swirl marks, followed by a detailed paint polishing to even out the surface.
03 — Application
Your selected System X Ceramic Coating is applied to every inch of the exterior paint, head & tail lights, sealing in the clarity achieved by paint correction and adding a layer of light-bending quartz-hard armor.
04 — Curing
Your pristine vehicle must rest and remain dry for a minimum of 4-24 hours (depending on the coating strength) post application to properly cure. This is perhaps the most important step, as it ensures the coating bonds flawlessly to the paint.
